Three Months
I am not sure how it is possible but Jack just keeps on getting cuter! He weighed 13 lbs and 3 oz at his two month checkup and seems to have quite a few new rolls since then. He smiles so big now and he is just right on the verge of laughing. He loves songs especially itsy bitsy spider. He anticipates eating and starts making all these little grunts. He can hold his head up on his own and loves to put weight on his legs. He is also starting to grab things…especially my hair. He recognized himself in the mirror today and made the cutest little noise. I just love being his mom. It really changes everything and it is so great. I am back at work now and it does stress me out, but so far it has not been bad. Mom and Dad have kept him and I even took him to a meeting. ( very stressful with starting the day with no power and huge blowout diaper on our way) I don’t feel like I am gone much at all from him and I want to keep it that way. We finalized all the options on our house and are just waiting on the permit 4-6 weeks. But maybe we will get into the new house about the time Jack starts crawling. J I really feel like I love him more everyday. I think we are on a bit more of a schedule. He usually sleeps all morning and then takes a shorter nap in the afternoon. He has slept some big chunks of a time at night 5-6 hours but not very consistently. He will do it a couple of nights and then he will be up again. Some nights he just does not want to go to sleep at all! He seems to be a very smart baby and wants to look at new things all the time. We had such a great time at Christen’s wedding with him. It was so nice to get out of the house and see my friends and show him off. We did some dancing and I even drank a glass of wine. Very good times!
